Templates
Start from ready-made templates for signatures, invoices, replies, résumés, and more.
The SimpleFill marketplace is full of ready-made templates: email signatures, support replies, invoices, résumés, meeting notes, and more. Find one you like, add it to SimpleFill in a click, and make it yours.
What’s in the marketplace
| Type | What it is |
|---|---|
| Templates | Beautifully designed rich snippets, often with Fields for the details that change |
| Smart Fields | Add-ons that read details from websites like LinkedIn, GitHub, and HubSpot |
Templates are organized by who uses them, including Email Signatures, Customer Support, Sales & Marketing, Invoices & Billing, Hiring & HR, Productivity, Developer, Education, Appointments, and Personal & Career. Some are free, and some are a one-time purchase.
Add a template
- Open the template in the marketplace. Its page shows a preview, its shortcut, and what it needs.
- Click Add to SimpleFill. For a paid template, click Buy & add to SimpleFill and complete checkout first.
- SimpleFill opens on Snippets with the template filled in: its name, shortcut, and content.
- Review it, change anything you like, and click Add Snippet to save it.
The template is now an ordinary snippet in your library. Edit the content, swap in your logo, change the shortcut: it’s yours.
Make a template yours
Most templates have Fields for the details that change, like a client’s name or an invoice number, so you fill those in each time you use it. For details that never change, like your own name and company, edit the snippet once and type them in.
Updates
When a template’s creator releases a new version, the marketplace shows it under My add-ons, marked Update available. Click Add latest version to add it.
Adding a new version always creates a new copy. Your edited version is never changed or overwritten, so you can compare them and keep the one you like.
SimpleFill itself never checks for updates in the background. You decide when to look.
Your marketplace account
You don’t need an account to add free templates. You need one to buy templates and to see My add-ons, the list of everything you’ve bought or added while signed in.
Sign in with Continue with Google. Google is used only to sign you in; your snippets and other saved data stay in your browser.
Share your own templates
Any rich snippet can be saved as a marketplace package: open its ⋯ menu and choose Export as marketplace package. Templates can’t contain Blocks, so put their content directly in the snippet first.
Publishing and selling your own templates in the marketplace is coming later.
Limits
Templates you add become snippets, so they count toward your plan’s snippet limit.
