A **Dropdown** [Field](https://simplefill.app/docs/fields) for the role means one template covers every opening. Use the `|` trick to show a short name and insert the full title:

## Let AI adapt the tone

- Write a quick note, then run `;pro` for a polished version or `;casual` for a friendlier one.
- Select a long email from a prospect and run **Extract Action Items** to see what they asked for.
- Create a custom [AI action](https://simplefill.app/docs/ai-actions) called *Shorten for LinkedIn*: “Rewrite this as a LinkedIn message under 300 characters.”

## Keep track of character limits

LinkedIn connection notes and some forms have tight limits. Type `;left` in the box to insert how many characters you have left, or `;length` to see how many you’ve used.

## Tips

- Keep an *Outreach* [folder](https://simplefill.app/docs/folders) so your templates are grouped in the right-click menu.
- Use [Quick Access](https://simplefill.app/docs/quick-access) during calls: open it, type `follow`, and press Enter.
- Save the details of your booking page or calendar link as a snippet, like `;cal`.
